The use of fake leather for the cover symbolizes the tradition and brutality of bullfighting, while the red thread binding the book together represents the "string of fate" and the idea of stitching together opposing forces—man and beast. The material choices evoke both the tactile nature of the sport and the emotional connections it holds for those involved.

The design choices were made to reflect the duality and tension present in bullfighting:
Concept of Tearing and Mending: Inspired by the violent clash between bull and fighter, the concept of tearing and putting back together was key to the design. It mirrors the tension between the vengeful strength of the bull and the calculated elegance of the bullfighter, bringing the theme of contradictions to life visually and physically.
